<li><em>Read <strong>REBT</strong> online, this stands for Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy. This information will open your eyes to what causes all your emotions, and how to control and choose which emotions you feel.</em></li>
<li><em>Before you go to sleep at night, and when you wake up in the morning focus on what you want in the positive tense for 5 minutes. Anxious people rarely take time to focus on what they DO want, and usually focus on what they DONT want.</em></li>
<li><em>Do something social everyday- even if its something small. Talk to the clerk at the gas station, the barista at starbucks, or a coworker.</em></li>
<li><em>Instead of feeling your emotions, try to view them. Imagine you talking all your anxious thoughts out to yoruself, and your sitting infront of you listening. Tell yourself its okay to be nervous.</em></li>
<li><em>Keep a list of all the nervous thoughts you have throughout the day. Then at the end of each day put a checkmark next to every negative thought or prediction that actually occurred. You will learn that 90% of what you worry about never comes to pass.</em></li>
<li><em>Stay away from symptom lists online. Its okay to read a couple to diagnose yourself, but do not start to identify yourself as an anxious person. You will learn more about this in the REBT information.</em></li>
